Wilmington does a good job at the fireworks. The crowds unnerve me though and I don't do much of this anymore since the kids are gone. Have fun though.

Faith, in the Salisbury area (north of Charlotte. exit 74/75/76 on I-85), is supposedly known for having an apocalyptic fire works show

We have a fireworks show over here in Tega Cay, SC...there will also be fireworks off Lake Wylie (by Buster Boyd bridge)....Knights Stadium will have a fireworks display by WBT (Fort Mill, SC)...and in Waxhaw, NC they too have a fireworks show too. Each year there has always been a show in Charlotte (uptown)...but WBT has moved it over to Knights Stadium this year...it looked as if Charlotte would be dark this year..but last I heard the Mayor announced they would have their own show in uptown?

I'd rather do them at my own house... that is how we always did it when I was little. 4th of July is my absolute favorite holiday. So many wonderful memories...

I don't know but I saw it in the local paper when I was there, plus the lady I met on the plane told me they have it there every year.
