I was on my way to Jamestown Tuesday night headed south out of Fessenden on Hwy. 52 when about 5 miles south of town on the east side of the Highway I noticed this giant new really tall tower. It reminded me of a fire lookout tower because it had stairs that went back and forth all the way to the top. This tower has to be at least 200+ feet tall or more anyone know??? I pulled off Hwy.52 unto the gravel road and drove right up to it and was in total amazement how tall it is plus the steps going up to the top were right there and not blocked off so I walked all the way up to the top WOW WHAT A VIEW !!! I was really bumbed out I didn't have my camera so I could take a really good photo and post it on here maybe somebody reading this can do it ??? Anyone know who owns this tower or why it was built ??? Looks like it would be a perfect place to mount some cell phone satelite dishes as both my AT& T and Sprint cell phones didn't work in that area as I was driving by sup with that??? What on earth brand of cell phone works in the Fessenden,N.D. area???

I think I might have seen the tower in question about the time this post was made. I didn't stop to check it out, though. Next time, I will.
