Scary article. I keep telling anyone and everyone that will listen to me, that all it will take to end the boom here is for Obama to sign an executive order that will cease all fracking while TPTB 'study' the facts. One signature and it's all over - except the crying.

I'm cynical, I trust no one. In the back of mind, the executive order is always lurking.....................

I dont think Obama will do so. His reelection would be in jeopardy if he signs an order that will result in massive lay offs. No way.

Good Point, but what's to stop him after-election? We are less than a year away from that time already...................dang time flies.

Now thats a different story. I would suggest to you all start saving as much money as you can. Be prepared for what our super wise and smart politicians decide to do after elections are over.

It's possible he will, if this process is linked to causing earthquakes, why wouldn't he. The oil companies are able to tap this resource because of fracking right. I've read that up until recently this oil wasn't able to be exhumed because the right technology didn't exist (horizontal drilling). Now that it does, what is known about it reports wise.
