Belfield is an oil town so housing is not easy to find. The best bet is Dickinson which is 20 miles east, as it is 10 times larger, and where a lot of new apartments and housing is going in. Another town called Beach, about 40 miles west, may have new housing too. Belfield /Dickinson is not as crazy as the Williston / Watford City area for oil, but Williston housing seems to be more aggressively developed.
