Hi everyone, i'm looking at a property that's just on the other side of Winona Lakes, ie on the other side of Bush Kill river from Winona Lakes. It's not far from the 'Water Plant'. Does anyone know what type of plant this is, and also, are you likely to experience bad smells throughout the year, ie i'm guessing especially during the summer. Thanks in advance.

Was just looking at Google Maps and I couldn't find that water treatment plant. Can you provide the location or coordinates??

Pocono Record article from 2006. It's a sewage (wastewater) treatment plant. The article does not address anything about the smell.

There is a sewage -- ahem, "wastewater" -- plant in Minisink Hills on River Road between the Minisink Hotel and the paper mill. Some days you sure can smell it when you drive by, and I wouldn't want to live downwind from it.
