Oh heck yeah, I was in that compound years ago when I volunteered for the ambulance. That was in the pre 9/11 days and it still creeped me out. It was all Middle Easterners in there at that time, assuming it is under the same ownership all these years later. The compound did not appear as extensive back then as it does now. There are vehicles pulling in there with all kinds of license plates and very tinted windows. It is not far off of Route 115 on Mount Eaton road, near Borger's Speedway.

as an unhappy to be here northeast pa resident i am TOTALLY NOT SURPRISED----this area is the most negative place i have ever lived and if i had the finances and means i would have left yesterday

In my mind I thought that compound predated 1998 – but I could be wrong? It is very close the the large flea market.

I have never been a fan of any religious compound that has security or controls who goes in. I always felt, that if these compounds qualify for special tax status; they should have open doors. I don't know if that is the case with this particular establishment?

By the way; it almost sounds as if there are politics involved. I am wondering if Turkey really doesn't want this man extradited because of civil unrest?
