Thanks for the info guys.
Regarding schools, the wife was hoping to homeschool if you read the first few posts. I would certainly like decent schools, however 11,000 in taxes versus 2,000 in taxes is a massive difference. At that point she'd be better off homeschooling than even bother getting a part time job or something of the sort. I've been looking at jobs and such in the area. Doesn't seem like anybody in PA is hiring new police recruits. Looking at joining here in NJ or PA as i have over 60 College Credits which means i am technically eligible, but so many people have been going to college and trying to become police officers, nurses, etc. that those industries are becoming absolutely flooded. Many don't want to pay for the Academy either and want you to go through the course before even applying, which can cost over $20,000 for the 2 months. While i am currently self employed, i would certainly like to settle into a career wherever it is i move to.

Also, Gettingouttahere, as toobusytoday suggested i have been looking in that area as well. There are so many small boroughs etc. it gets confusing, but i have been looking into houses throughout pretty much the entire mideast/northeastern side of PA, though it seems like im going to have to focus on finding an area that offers a decent selections of jobs before seriously looking into one area over another. Seems like there are tons of foreclosures and short sales in the area, so it looks like i may try and pick one of those up rather than buy a house conventionally. I am fairly handy and can certainly fix up anything i buy for the right price.
