It was announced today that three blighted structures near King's College will soon be razed to make way for a $19.4 million redevelopment project. Rodano's Pizza is going to move to Public Square in the former Campus Square Billiards building, and its former building, along with two adjacent abandoned industrial buildings, are all going to be razed in order to make way for a new mixed-use project featuring retail and living options. Further details will be released later today.

About time they did something about that.

King's should do something about Hafey and the library. The library is embarrassingly substandard, especially compared to the University of Scranton's library built over 16 years ago. I used to feel depressed just walking in there. Also, why isn't it open 24/7? King's has a lot of work to do.
