Joe Biden won Lackawanna County but lost the rest of the area. Note: Monroe and Pike Counties are more NYC and northern Jersey than NEPA.

I wonder if he will favor NEPA somehow? He did visit his boyhood home in Scranton on election day but I don't know if it means much.

Visions of influence-peddling like this are s perfect example of why I will continue to view the Democrats as the more-corrupt of the two major parties -- and why I'm proud to identify as a Libertarian.

So jaded. Glad to see that I'm not alone in thinking that way.

As far as if Biden will favor the area in any way? Nah. He got what he wanted; the votes. He no longer has any need for us.

We will see how much he cares, when he picks the location of his presidential library. Scranton or Wilmington, DE??

The President can only show so much favoritism towards a particular region.

BUT he does know what it is like to live in Scranton and understands the middle class. Far more than Trump who never has stepped foot outside of a multi millionaires home.

I think it’s doubtful that a Biden Presidential Library would be Scranton—and that wouldn’t be a slight to Scranton or at all unprecedented. In recent decades, Presidential libraries have frequently been located closer to where the future President made a name for himself politically, not necessarily his hometown. For instance, the Obama library is in Chicago, not Hawaii. Both Bush libraries are in Texas, not anywhere in New England. The Reagan library is in California, not Illinois.

Default pay scale

I worked at Tobyhanna Army Depot when biden was VP. The GS pay scale, white collar, received a 28% locality pay. The WG pay scale, blue collar, received zero. I think the fight is still going on for equal pay. so, I would not expect to receive anything.
