Asian lady beetles are not cute little Eric Carle ladybugs and I don't care if their house is on fire or their children burn.

We were infested a couple of years ago. Old farmhouse with drafty windows. I used an insecticide called Suspend SC (mfg by Bayer) to get rid of them. At least we have new windows now so they don't get inside as much.

A wide variety of little critters try to get into your house as winter approaches like stink bugs, centipedes, spiders, mice, ants, etc. I find that "glue traps" are most effective.

Vacuum cleaner for bugs. I refuse to use glue traps for mice. Snap traps are good enough. I let the spiders stay if they're finding enough prey to live.

The ladybugs love to collect just to the sides of my garage doors. My leaf blower sends them back out into the cold. It is a quick way to clean my garage floor and get rid of hundreds of pesky ladybugs at the same time. Of course, they probably flew over to the neighbors! But, if you kick them out when the weather is freezing, they might not make it to the neighbors!

I guess that they like doors. They hang around my rear slider. I've never had a serious infestation and don't have to do much to keep them out.
