We are re-listing our house , not happy with our current Realtor. Anyone know any good listing agents or bad one's that I should avoid? Looking for someone who works in Stroudsburg & E. Stroudsburg.

Thanks!

Remember the market, for lack of better words, sucks right now. It could be 1-2 years.... YEARS... before you sell your house. Not months, not days, not weeks. etc. I firmly believe all realtors are doing their best at this time. They can't sell houses because there are no buyers.

As for companies i have used. Coldwell Banker in Brodheadsville. And Key Real Estate in Blakeslee. Both i believe service the areas you are looking at. However remember the market is totally different then when i bought/sold several years ago.

I sold my house in 3 days with Key Realestate in Blakeslee.... However that was well over 2 years ago, and a totally different market.

I know a few good agents. But, the climate right now is not their fault
Its not good out there. Not in this general area you are speaking of. We no longer have the influx that came after 9/11. The economy is hurting many. The industry itself tightening up, is not conducive to buying a home.
While I have complete confidence in two realtors especially, on a long list..........
things are beyond their control in this environment.
Unless you price your home very much under the competition, your home won't sell.
I know there are pockets of wonderful home sales, but it is further North and West of the Stroudsburg area.
So I agree with pocopc on this one. Not enough buyers around is really not a realtors fault. Its the times...............
