Anyone know of a good seafood store near Hawley, Honesdale or Milford? I like to buy shrimp trays, etc. during the holidays. I know there is one in Clarks Summit but I was hoping for something closer.

Thanks!

I have the same question.

Where can I find a good store for seafood in the Pocono Lake area?

Thanks!

Well I live on the Chesapeake Bay, right near Virginia Beach, and I can tell you that you have better seafood available to you that I do. The Price Chopper in Dunmore has an incredible selection this time of year. It makes our markets look anemic.

Someone told me yesterday that they are opening a fish store in Hamlin. I am not sure when or where but I will let you know when I find out.

I have the same problem but if you want shrimp you can get decent shrimp at Sam's club. Someone also said that Wegmans has a nice fish department.

I second the fish at Price Chopper....they will even fry fish for you.

Fish store in Hamlin?? Hamlin is getting a new store...'Imports, pizza and Deli'....just what we need ANOTHER pizza place. Our little town could use something different!

I used to work at the Wegman's store in Dickson City in their fish department. They'll fry, steam cook the fish and lobster tails for you.

I was just at Wegmans today. Load up on the lobster tails, guys. I doubt you'll ever see it much cheaper than this! Gotta love this year's catch.

Yes there is a new fish store in the Hamlin area - right next to Backdraft on Rt 590 - it's a temporary store through the holidays, depending on business they may continue according to the guy who is running it. I got great shrimp and scallops today- he told me he could order whatever we wanted. He lives locally and from what I understand he is a chef in the area.
