Any my bf won't be far behind you!

Same with spiders. He lets me know when he sees one so I can take it outside. Before we got together, I'd leave the spiders in my house - I didn't really care. Figured they earned their keep by eating other insects that could cause damage.

snakes can cause a problem if you accidentally step on them--even a non venomous snake bites when startled and the bite can cause infection---best to study on the types---they do occasionally make their way into a home opr garage--have had 2 ringnecks wander in

These were our pets Stanley and Stanley. You can see one head by Mr. Pocono's face
and the other in front by his arm. I was afraid of them at first, by they were very....believe
it or not....pet like. They were attentive to us, never hurt us... we would take them in the yard and driveway on hot days, and they would stick by us..and if we walked away a bit, they'd start
in our direction, like a dog would. The Stanleys were ball pythons...and that is what they do -
curl up in ball, in fear & to protect themselves. They've since died...but they were really good pets.

I guess it depends on the species of snake if I am afraid or not. Garden snakes don't scare me...and I like their help with rodent control....Copperheads scare me. I was taught by my dad to stay away from rock piles, and if I smell cucumbers...that could indicate one was near.

I am afraid of anything that surprises me. But I don't want to kill them or not share the planet with them. Rattle snakes warn you- how nice is that? "Excuse me you are in my area could your please leave now? rattle rattle?" I was in the store one time and a man walked in and said he had been bit by a rattle snake. He didn't even go to the Doctor. It gave him a belly ache. If it was a small child, a trip to the hospital would have been important, but for an average size adult it will probably just make you sick for a day or two. I have never actually heard of anyone up here in NEPA dying from a snake bite- has anyone else? I don't want any of God's creatures to be gone from the earth, If God made them they are important.

are you kidding me? quit hugging trees and enter reality lol. rattlesnakes do not warn you before striking and their bites are fatal if not treated.
