Possible Move to Pleasant Valley School Area! (school district, pharmacy)

Hello All,

We are considering a possible move to PA for a work opportunity but wanted to ask some questions since we can not get out there for a couple of weeks, we are looking at the Pleasant Valley School District towns, any answers or info you could offer would be very helpful--we really appreciate it!

Since the schools are grouped together, do you find that some are quite far from you home? And any good/bad experiences with this district?

How is the tax situation--I know anywhere is lower than here in NJ, but is there talk of an increase or assessment?

Can you get basic errands and shopping done in the general area esp. in bad weather (other shopping is not a big deal) just food, pharmacy, post office, etc.

How about the weather, does the snow become a huge issue and are there any special precauctions taken in the area?

Are there many bear sightings or many dear in the area? If so does it become a problem with children playing outside?

Is the area congested (I am sure nothing tops north jersey) traffic and people wise?

If you live in this area, any special things about it, great places, or wonderful experiences would be so helpful---we would love to relocate from new jersey to a more family friendly area!!!
