hawley can be really nice for picture taking. some of the pictures you may have seen but the old host we used compressed the heck out of the pictures and added artifacts and over sharpening so here we are with a brand new host and we re-edited the pictures using some new techniques..

lots to show you:

funny you said that about making the town look better. marilyn and i realized we can never capture a scene exactly as it looks as cameras cant do it and we cant do it. so the next best thing is make it look how we would like it to look. sooooo we add our own artistic spin to our work and the colors, the vividness, the sharpness are what we see in our heads not what may be there in real life,. some photographers criticize us for going outside tradition and perking things up like we do , but heck thats what art is all about isnt it. just taking the same ole boring picture as everyone else isnt what we are about.

Well you do that for sure. It looks like everyone would like it to look. I took a pic in Hawley years ago, it was on a back road during the peak of fall, there was a school bus driving away from me up the road. It is still one of my favorite pictures. It was before I had a digital cam so I wouldnt know how to post it. Hawley is a nice canvas.

Hawley isnt a bad little town, it still has a great deal of beauty in it. But Mathjak does make it more beautiful.

Does anyone know whats going on today in Hawley? I just passed Bingham park and it is packed full. Looks like an arts and craft sale or something.
