Okay all. I need some help here. I'll admit I have an addiction. A weakness so to speak for hot wings. I've eaten hot wings all over the Manassas area and really am not impressed with what is available. Hooters is ok but only ok. What hot wing restaurant does anyone here think is very good or excellent? I'm willing to drive for the good wings anywhere in NOVA.

We like Main Street Wings in Ashburn, in the Ashbrook shopping center. They have $5/ pound wings on Mondays, which is when we like to go. A ton of choices for sauces. Their wing size ranges from 7-9 wings per pound. Love the honey mustard, husband and son love the garlic teryaki.

I don't know why but I've never liked the large chicken wings. Not saying I wouldn't be willing to try them though.

I'm also a fan of Main Street Wings. There is another location in Purcellville.

We are regulars at Glory Days at the Fairfax location. Opinions vary but we really like them.

May be a little out of your way but I understand they have a location in Centerville if you are ever in the area.

I love Hooters' buffalo wings, especially the 911 ones, definitely my favorites. Close second would go to the ones from Hard Times Cafe.

Now this is something we agree on.

My favorites:

Big Bite
Shopper's
Glory Day's
Pizza Hut's Burning Hot Wings
Wing Zone

There's a Glory Day's one mile from my home in Manassas. They are decent but not outstanding. And Pizza Hut? Please. Any hot wing cooked in an oven should never be sold.

This might not be exactly what you are looking for, but... you might want to try Bon Chon chicken in Annandale, they serve Korean fried chicken and wings. These are not the traditional buffalo hot wings you are looking for, but at the same time all the ones mentioned seem just average to me.

Ask for the spicy fried wings... these are simply the best wings, regardless of preparation, I have ever tasted.

They are located in

6653 Little River Tpke, Annandale, VA 22003

Bon Chon Chicken - Annandale, VA

If you do plan to go, pre-order the wings by phone as they take around 45 minutes to make, otherwise you might find yourself waiting in the restaurant for some time.
