There are cruises that leave from Baltimore so you wouldn't have to scramble for last minute airfare.

http://www.cruise.com/cs/forms/CruiseResultsPage.aspx?skin=1&hotdeals=y&Sailings= 209332,209642,209643

~$60/night per person for lodging, entertainment, and all your meals. If you want a budget vacation, cruises can't be beat. That sailing has prepaid gratuities as well, which is $100 value per person. It also includes $75 of on board credit to use for alcohol or the casino or specialty restaurants.

Man...if I had vacation days to burn, I'd be convincing myself to sign up for this.

That is insanely cheap! Wow, I want to go, too. (Anyone want to watch 3 kids from November 18-27? )

Depends. How good are they at cleaning houses and/or cooking Thanksgiving meals?

We fell in love with Cape May this summer. Can't wait to go back!

I live in Quebec, have a young family and have travelled extensively in the province. If you want you can send me a direct message and I can give you some tips and answer your questions.

Good idea so long as they stay off the highways. Traffic north is murder during the Thanksgiving weekend. If they can stick to the ferry, that would be best. I love Cape May.

I haven't been in November, but it was beautiful in late October last year. The water was warm, the weather was nice, and the crowds weren't bad.

If you're interested in cruising, the message boards at Cruise Reviews, Cruise Deals and Cruises - Cruise Critic have more information than you'd ever possibly be able to digest

I've been on a cruise in November and the weather was nice and in the 80's. I also second cruise critic. There is a ton of information. Also, if you are so inclined you can join a roll call for your cruise date and "get to know" people beforehand.
