Hi,
can anyone tell me of some offline sources for rental properties in Fairfax County?

i'm searching Realtor.com, hotpads.com. typically i can find rental properties in local papers but haven't found a single source in a printed medium. I'm not sure why?

is there a printed magazine that has rentals? I've looked online for printed sources.... we're moving from Tampa Florida to Fairfax.

Thanks again,

Tampagirl

Are you looking for rental by owner properties, or corporate managed complexes? If it's the first, I haven't heard of any publications. If you are looking for complexes, there are freebie apartment guides I've picked up in newspaper stands occasionally.

Printed media might be outdated pretty quickly. give militarybyowner.com a try.

I haven't picked up a City Paper in a while, but I suppose they still print non-commercial classifieds such as rooms/apartments for rent.

Craigslist is your best source for rentals. I have discovered that most realtors are not very interested in rental properties and the websites they use are mostly a bust.
