MMA is a combination of Muay Thai Boxing (which you could learn separately at a MMA gym) and Brazilian Jujitsu (which is not just a ground and pound thing, but an art of ground fighting) plus various other styles and techniques. Not everyone is a meat head looking to fight in an octagon. You should respect other martial arts. I expected more from someone who practices Wado Ryu.

Hey STP. MMA is exacatly what the name suggest: mixed martial arts. Muay Thai and BJJ are not the only two involved. If you are talking aabout the UFC, then yes, they are the most prevalent. But since you said "Not everyone is a meat head looking to fight in an octagon." I'm assuming you are talking the name itself.

Stp, i could have clearer, but there's no disrespect of mma intended in my response. I watch UFC and pride all the time and I have a great deal of respect for them. That's just not what I'm looking for.
