Last I heard there are issues on the rt 1 end - I imagine the home owners that are located on the road that ends at Rt 1 are not happy.

Well there aren't any homeowners there at the end but perhaps the commercial property owners and Woodlawn are objecting. On those corners there's an Exxon station, Woodlawn Stables, Woodlawn Plantation, and a Roy Rodgers. There are are some apartments behind the Roy's. I don't know why the state or county couldn't use their eminent domain powers to make it happen.
