Thanks!
I do NOT have a child at Oak Hill. We wound up at Greenbriar West, which we are quite happy with so far. We looked at houses in the Oak Hill and Lees Corner districts, but did not wind up buying there. Since we needed to buy before the end of the summer to get our daughter enrolled in school, we picked based on the available housing stock at the time in several neighborhoods where we would have been fine with the schools.

I do know a family with a child at Lees Corner, and it sounds like they are happy. I don't think you can go too far wrong in this area, to be honest. I also know a family at Waples Mill, which is just East of us with a fairfax address. There are plenty of good elementary schools in this area.

It's Rachel Carson.

Carson has an AAP center, but Franklin's test scores are higher. Carson is newer, but Franklin is cozier. It's six of one, half-dozen of another.

Me thinks that poster may, perhaps, be a 6th grade basketball player for Oak Hill.
