Across from Shoppers? I couldn't read the sign when I drove by today.

I live on the opposite side of the county, but was at one of my son's sports practice the other day and some of the other parents were talking about that!

They were saying it's a used book store--can't remember the name--but they were pleased with some deals they had gotten there.

If no one responds I can swing by on the way back home. If McKays opens up a store there, I would be happy!

It wasn't McKays...the name was something like "2nd and Main" or "2nd and Grand" or something where it sounded like an address....and I'm almost positive "2nd" was a part of it.

Wow cool. I wonder if they'll open the cafe. I miss having a place to drink some java, do some studying and people watching.

How great to see that space is still being used for a book store.

The Borders in our mall became a Books a Million, and I'm very happy about that. It's good to have a book store in a mall, especially if you're waiting for someone who's busy in some other store trying on clothes.

I love used book stores. :-) Glad to see the space is being put to good use and good for the environment, too!

Oh, man. I would've turned around and checked it out -- if I'd only had my glasses with me to read the sign! LOL!

Here's a nice piece of info from the article HereinVa. linked to:

"Two managers and 15 former employees of Borders were also retained, which has made for an easy transition for the new store and its customers."

That's nice.

I was down in Woodbridge last week and remember seeing that store. They need to get a better sign. I had no clue it was a used bookstore I might've stopped.
