I will be taking a train out of Union Station next week and because my train will be departing early in the morning and my return train will be arriving around 5 pm, I thought the easiest way to get to and from the station might be VRE (I live close to the Broad Run station on the Manassas line).

You can bring a suitcase on the train...there are luggage racks in some cars.

We've parked overnight at the Rolling Road VRE station a few times. Car was there the next day each time
It's allowable, but obviously VRE doesn't warrant anything about leaving your car there overnight.
