Hi. I have 2 cats and we do presently have a vet that we love. We are very concerned with the way the practice as a whole is heading.

If you have a pet and a vet you love in Wood bridge I would appreciate a recommendation!

I'm very picky when it comes to veterinarians - I love Mapleshade (for our dog, but I heard they're great for cats also!).

Can you PM where you have been going? I'm wondering if we have been at the same place.

Sounds like maybe these are the same. Is there only the one vet there or are there any others? On the website it only listed one.

Also, what do you like about Mapleshade?

I visited one called Crossroads today off of Old Bridge. Staff seemed friendly and it was a nice establishment. One of the ladies from the rescue I am familiar with takes her pets there and she likes it.

Has anyone been there and liked it?

I've used Ridge Lake Animal Hospital on Old Bridge, close to 123, for several years for my two dogs. I don't have any complaints about them, they've been very nice and they have reasonable boarding rates when we go on vacation. I've heard a few grumbles that they may charge a bit more for some services than other vets, but no complaints about their competence.

I found them to be high.

When I lived there, I used Old Bridge Veterinary Hospital on, well, Old Bridge, closer to the PW Pkwy end. We really liked Dr. Kawasaki.

We just recently switched to Mapleshade. I am fairly particular about vets and thought that the vet we saw was great. All of the staff were friendly & caring, the vet took her time with us. She explained all options, leaned towards less intervention & a "wait & see" approach. Their prices seemed reasonable for the area and significantly less than prices when you go a bit North. Good luck. I hope you find someone you love.

Are you referring to the boarding rates or the price for services?
