I live in leesburg and there is no option on relocating. I have two job offers one in winchester and the other in fairfax. Both are at the same salary, benefits work hours. Winchester position is in industry I love. but i have young kids so i must be mindful as i cant get stuck if a flash storm occurs. Which commute would you take.

As per the other thread. No doubt, Winchester is better.

Winchester may be farther but it's a reverse commute from rush hour. Much less difficult & stressful. Although you didn't state if you'd be commuting during peak rush hour.

And, with Winchester, no tolls, highway/cruise control to save money on gas. Gas is cheaper in Winchester, too, so fill your tank up there. Best of luck.

Yeah it is. When I drive between here and Pittsburgh I try and work it so I get the most out of filling up at the Sheetz on 522.

Winchester is a better option for you. Traffic will be lighter as you will be going against the traffic.

But you may need an on-call person to pick up kids at short notice in case if any delay occurs to give you some peace of mind.
