Why there isn't any gas station and CVS/Walgreens pharmacy in Brambleton/Broadlands area? Does county has any restrictions?

There is a Walgreens in Broadlands (by the Southern Walk Harris Teeter). There are also a few gas stations in Broadlands (Sunoco and Safeway). Can't speak for Brambleton- I guess their developer didn't attract those businesses. Brambleton only has one shopping area, right?

There are a few drug stores and gas stations in the Broadlands area. Brambleton is still being developed. I'm sure Brambleton will have its fair share when all is said and done.

In the most recent rezoning for Brambleton, a gas station was approved. It will be on Northstar Boulevard behind Sport and Health. (
