Speaking of neighbors.. someone cleared out around their car and piled the snow onto the path that I had shoveled out on the sidewalk.
The HOA has not plowed yet. I hate that wall that the plow puts up in the parking lots. It almost makes things worse then the flat snow, although this storm is too high to wait for a melt off.

If that's all you're dealing with, I'm happy for you. I just got through moving almost 3 feet of snow off the hoods of our cars. (We "only" got about 20", but the wind piled it up in some places.)

Today I wish that yesterday I'd followed my own advice about shoveling early and often. I got an attack of the lazies and am paying for it now.

This is a question you should have learned from life experience not from a forum.

We waited. The experience wasn't as bad we thought it would be. We've been through this before. I was concerned about waiting, but it is working out okay. That said, we're only halfway done. We're taking a break now.

It's bad, real bad! It's actually a nice day to shovel, but with 3' of snow (and drifts up to 5') and a driveway that is about 200' long, it is very overwhelming! UGH! Back outside...

We made it to the street. That's the street behind the tape measure.

You guys got more than us. Mrs. NBP measured about 13" on our patio table. Now some had been blown off so add an inch or so.

My biggest problem was the ridge where the plow threw it. Also, someone ran into my older truck and broke the driver's side mirror. That's 3 in the last 10 months on 3 different vehicles.
