Driver Safety School Suggestions? (Fairfax: insurance, lawyer, license)

So, I'm going to take a driver safety school, for a speeding ticket in Fairfax County. My lawyer talked to the CA and apparently the CA "suggested" that a driver's safety class might get the ticket reduced to a no-points-on-my-license infraction. (This is the third continuance. Maybe they're just tired of me.)

So, if I'm going to take this class, I'd like for it to mean something. You can do it online and then take a proctored exam at the library, but I'd like something more meaningful. I'd also like a school that isn't seen as a joke amongst the Fairfax District Court traffic CAs.

Anybody have any suggestions?

They are all a joke. It's all the same material and test. Think of it as a glorified driver's test. Personally I would take it after (when convicted) to get the +5 points back. Fairfax county is ridiculously difficult to get a speeding ticket reduced if this isn't a reckless I'm surprised a lawyer/CA would even suggest this.

If you are +5 right and take the test....well +5 is the max so if you get convicted and -4 from the ticket you are back to +1 with no outs. If you wait until you are convicted and go down to +1 you can take the class and immediately be back to +5 again.

Your insurance isn't going to care about a simple speeding ticket and the whole purpose of the positive points system to begin with is that you can get a "free" ticket every couple of years without it ruining you.

Agreed. Not sure there is a company offering a quality course.
