Hi all. My husband was assigned an 18 month job transfer to Virginia and we'll be living in Reston. I'm 27 and a new mom to 5 week old baby girl. I'll be resigning from my job here in NY and staying home with the baby for the duration of his assignment. I'm looking for any suggestions for either baby classes or mom groups since I won't know anyone down there. I've searched the internet for any "northern virginia mom forums" but haven't had much luck finding anything active. We'll be living in right in Reston Town Center. Thank you for any input!

I just did a quick search and there are a bunch of Facebook groups for Reston moms. I would join some of those for sure.

There is one called "DullesMoms" too that is good for a calendar of local kid-friendly activities, etc.
