Bringing this back up, for advice. Hopefully moving soon, had a good interview.

Out of curiosity, is there a listing of private schools and/or listing of parochial schools serving northern Virginia?

I'd go for Richmond, plenty of work and it's affordable. It's also ok for you to say Black and White, contrary to the race baiting tactics these days and "political correctness" their NOT insults or words you should be afraid to say. Richmond a good area and I'm glad I moved here. There's not a lot of value in NoVA unless your REALLY in a job that only exists up there. Getting bent over and paying 3x for the house and every other cost there is in day to day life equals less of that "higher" paycheck, gotta figure that in!

I'd questions where exactly you live! I've been in Richmond since 2009 and it's a hell of a lot more mixed than Boston was.

Richmond is not in play anymore, not interested. Any answers about private schools?

Private schools here are VERY expensive. Your best bet would be Catholic schools
