On that note, the mall's branding remains 'Tyson's Corner Center'. No sign yet that they're changing.

I think the downtown area took a hit when Chicks & Wings closed. Although Olive Garden is still holding down the fort.

I have been in this area almost 25 years. In that time I've been to that mall once. Maybe a name change would draw me in?

Nah.

When I worked in Tysons I used to say I worked in McLean since that was our zip code.

Nah.

It's a pretty great mall- though then again, I'm a mall person, I'm guessing you're not ^^

(There's also the Galleria, but I find that one more boring)

USPS has officially accepted post labeled Tysons in zips such as 22102 for 5 years now as a proper address

I'm not a big shopper or mall person, but whenever I go to Tysons I notice that the diversity there is much greater than a typical shopping area in NW DC or North Arlington. It gives me an appreciation of the mall that I otherwise might not have.

As mentioned above, we don't usually go to malls. I can typically get what I need at a place like Kohl's.

I don't have anything against the mall in Tyson's. I'm very seldom in the Tyson's area in general. NW DC and North Arlington? I'd be lost. Haha. Perhaps I do need to get out more.
