You get attorney solicitation letters anytime you are arrested. One would only know they were soliciting for a reckless driving ticket if one opened up one of the letters.

Maybe, if they are a letter. What if they are a postcard/advert?

OP, you should be able to buy your own lock and change it for the mailbox. I really cannot say more because I have no idea what your situation is.

I didnt open any of them.. all had printing on the outside stating "Since you have several outstanding reckless driving tickets.." The overnight packs were for VCU and Federal Student Loan stuff. All on the outside of the envelope. These are what i brought to USPS to show them he doesnt live here. And is probably identity faking stuff. Again, they wouldnt replace the lock on my box.

As I pointed out above, USPS isn't responsible for changing locks. Whoever manages the property would take care of that.

The Post office would not do this (unless this is a PO box). You can buy one and replace it yourself or have someone else do it.

So I opened one of the adverts and it said "We see you have an upcoming traffic court date in Hampton VA"
I called traffic court and they confirmed his reckless driving court date. The clerk took my contact info and made a note on the upcoming records that dude doesn't live here, the address on his lisence is false, the current owner has been here 3 years and can provide paperwork/FFX county real estate records to prove it

I figure if I can get a judge aware, the faker may hafta fix his lisence at the least.

We'll see..
