Honestly, google and call them all. Last time I looked into it, quite a few of the larger companies weren’t even taking on new business (outside of larger, HOA controlled, areas)

Thanks for the comments.
I have found that few serve individual home owners just communities with HOA. I wasn't expecting rates to go down, but more than a doubling in 8 years is a growth rate of more than 9%, that is more like the cost increase of a college education

Recycling is not nearly as profitable now that China is not taking our stuff anymore. So the county starts charging more for companies to dump their trash/brush (it was 3-5% raise for 2020 alone), and at the same time the garbage companies up their rates too...and it all gets passed on to you, the consumer.trash company in the area. You won't find positive reviews for them either as no one leaves a positive review for trash service .
