I searched, no luck
Can anyone recommend an electrician? We have hard-wired smoke detectors and they are making us crazy, some we can't open to change the batteries (and consequently I broke the "door" trying), some detectors have "decided" they don't want to stick to the ceiling anymore and we can't get them reattached. I guess we need all new detectors installed (and ones that are easily accessed). Any referrals? Thanks in advance.

Alexandria. I called Michael & Son, we needed to get that beeping taken care of. The electrician that came out was very nice and professional.

R L Brown & Son Electricians (703-533-1300) did a great job for us installing several recessed lights and fixing some broken outlets. Very detail oriented and reasonably priced. He's also highly rated by Washington Consumer Checkbook (received top marks for quality of service as well as price) which is why we chose him.

Can anyone recommend an electrician? We have hard-wired smoke detectors and they are making us crazy, some we can't open to change the batteries (and consequently I broke the "door" trying), some detectors have "decided" they don't want to stick to the ceiling anymore and we can't get them reattached. I guess we need all new detectors installed (and ones that are easily accessed). Any referrals? Thanks in advance.
