I am transfering my daughter to Louise Archer Elementary. LA elementary does not have SACC program. Those of you who send their children to Louise Archer, how do you deal with this situation? I also noticed that very close Flint Hill Elementary does have SACC. Do you think it's possible to arrange the school bus to take my child to Flint Hill from LA after school? I know that Spring Hill elementary (McLean, it's where my daughter is now) has 2 SACC programs - one of them is across the road at Spring Hill RecCenter. School bus picks up children at school and takes them to RecCenter.

These are questions that would best be resolved by staff at FCPS, but my understanding would be that parents at a non-SACC ES can have their children transferred to a SACC ES, but that all transportation to school/SACC is then the responsibility of the parents. No special out-of-district pickups. That would lead me to suspect that school-to-SACC transportation is not going to be provided either, but FCPS may have knowledge of options in that area that I don't...

Thank you very much for your response. I will try to dig dipper on that process of transfering child from non-SACC school to SACC school.
