Not sure about the other two, but we really like Meadowbrook Woods. We currently live just down 234 and look there quite often, but just not ready to move at this point. They have what seems to be a nice pool, tennis, etc. The schools are good. I have heard a lot of positives about Benton MS. The lot sizes are nice and the homes seem to be really upkept. The HS is a distance away, but I believe plans are to build a new HS near Hoadly/234. One thing we always comment on as we drive through is that there aren't many cars parked along the streets, cluttering up the neighborhood. We know a few families there from little league and they have always been positive about their community.

My husband used to live in West Gate of Lomond ... residents consider it to have gone downhill quickly. I have always viewed it as a "street by street" kind of neighborhood: one street is quite nice, the very next kind of ragged, etc.

I know West Gate isn't that nice, I haven't been to the others.

I looked at homes in Westgate online. If these are opinions accurate, West Gate and Meadowbrook Woods (the one I am familiar with) seem to be totally different types of neighborhoods.

Default Manassas

I live in a section called "Lee Manor"..off of Hastings and Godwin Drive. An older but well-maintained neighborhood. Several police-officers and firefighters live nearby. The houses and yards are mostly well-kept (there's always SOMEBODY who doesn't get the message).

It's close to elementary (other side of the woods behind my house), middle, and high-schools.

Wellington isn't bad, and you could possible get a SFR for 220K. A lot of the illegals have left.
