I work around Pentagon City. Assuming I opt not to take public transportation, I'm looking for estimates of the commutes into D.C. from certain areas such as Lorton, Woodbridge, Burke, and Centerville.

Also, I'm not familiar with traffic patterns in NoVA. Which roads are worse at what times?

Thanks in advance!

Centreville to Pentagon City without transit would be brutal. You cannot use I-66 inside the beltway during rush hour unless you're HOV and the 66/495 interchange is a mess.

My rough guess for the rest would be:

Burke: 45 minutes - 1 hour
Lorton: 1 hour
Woodbridge: 1 hour - 1.5 hours

Of course, if you leave really early (like before 6am) you could be there in a half hour from Woodbridge.
