When I told a friend of mine that I was moving to NOVA, he said I was lucky. He said that the ratio between female to male was 3 to 1.

LOL, there's no place in the world where the female-male ratio is 3-1. There's definitely more females here but it's probably more like 52-48.

Well, there are some places with a 3:1 ratio or better, like nursing, social work and pharmacy schools, but overall NOVA is probably 52-48, like the poster above said.

It approaches 5 to 1 in some retirement/assisted living communities. They call the Viagra eating men "the Blue Crew."

I see much more men around than women. I thought it was because there is so many military here - I think that statistic is very wrong.

DC has one of the most lopsided ratios in the country. It's something like 55-60% female back when I cared. lol
