dont think there are any buses going that route, most commuter buses head up 395 to DC.

you might want to try commuter connections website, maybe find someone to slug with to Fairfax...

What part of Fairfax?

You could take the 29K to King Street in Old Town Alexandria and get on the Virginia Railway Express (VRE) to Woodbridge. 29K Schedule: http://www.wmata.com/bus/timetables/va/29kn.pdf. VRE schedule: General Schedule Information - VRE.

Or take the 17G or 306 to the Pentagon and then take the OmniRide to Woodbridge. 17G Schedule: http://www.wmata.com/bus/timetables/va/17.pdf. 306 Schedule: http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/connect...hedule/306.pdf. Omniride Pentagon to Route 1 Woodbridge: OmniRide Route 1/South Route 1 PM Schedule. Omniride Pentagon to Lakeridge: OmniRide Lake Ridge-Pentagon & Crystal City PM Schedule.

Omniride and VRE will only be going towards Woodbridge in the afternoon/evenings.

From Fairfax to Woodbridge, and your route takes them through the Pentagon? Seems to add a lot of extra time.....

Yeah, beggars can't be choosers. There are no direct buses between Fairfax and Prince William.

There is a direct bus from the Springfield metro station to the Woodbridge VRE and then it continues a route thru Woodbridge, the mall area, and I'm not sure where it ends up. These buses are also green but have bigger windows than the commuter PRTC bus that runs from DC and Pentagon to Woodbridge.

But as was earlier posted, WHERE is the origin in Fairfax, during what hours, etc.
