With summer fast approaching, I'm looking for a fun summer day camp for my 7-year-old daughter in the Gainesville/Bristow/Warrenton area. Any recommendations? Thank you!

I knew a few kids that went to Manassas Baptist Church (Sudley & Stonewall) for a one week basketball camp. The cost was 50 USD (for the week). It is Co-ed. Personally, I went to Penn State Sports Camp--then it was 135 per week for resident campers. I think closer to 500 now. Both times were some of the best experiences I ever had as a juvenile.

Prince William 4-H has a camp at the fairgrounds and it's only $30. I already signed my 8 year old up.

Is your daughter a Brownie Girl Scout? They have some good camps.

Thanks so much for all the suggestions! I'll definitely look into them. My daughter is a Brownie, I'll check with our troop leader to see what's available as well.
