lol, the cartoons are hilarious.

I've also been following the news closely, not panicking or anything but I have a toddler so being vigilant.

This morning my daycare providers informed me that they will be washing kids' hands more at the daycare, especially after drop-off, before lunch and before snacking and also asked me to start washing my daughter's hands more (as if I dont already, my husband is so finicky about these things). IMO .... Under the current situation, good hygiene practices should definitely be adopted to contain the virus' spread.

I just wanted to let everyone know that "Swine Flu" (which is now being called H1N1 I think so as not to "slaughter" the pork industry, pun intended) is getting closer than you'd think. There are now four likely cases in the Greater Philadelphia area, which isn't all that far away from NoVA. Be on guard! If you see people running around oinking at each other feel free to shoot first and ask questions later!

haha, that's my intention. I have refused to call it "Swine Flu". I've been using bacon fever and getting my coworkers and friends to use it too. Hopefully it catches on

That Pooh cartoon is hilarious!

Hahaha, great link. I like the "designer" flu masks, too.

Whether it's stupid or not, schools are closing in some states, even as close as Severna, Maryland. So IMO it's a good idea to think about what you'd do if your child's school closed. But that should take about ten minutes of thinking. And that's about all the attention Bacon Fever deserves.

I'm glad I can work from home . So thankful to my employers. They always let me telecommute when my daughter is sick.
