No it will not. I have been a Varsity and JV coach at the HS level and have never heard of this happening. It's there to prevent kids from transferring just to play on a better team. What you are doing is considered a "family move" in the eyes of the VHSL, but you should talk to the Principal to confirm. Don't talk to the Coach, in the end, it's the Principal's decision.
