All the townhouses (Blake, Stuart, and Tyler) are within the same association, "Towns at MetroWest" HOA. So the fee is the same, which is currently set at $145.00.

Which association does the townhome style condos belong to? Has anyone heard that the base price for the two-level townhome style condos will go up?

I am intested in MetroWest. I visited the sales center yesterday. The rep told me that the TH condos and regular condos that are planned for the development only include parking for ONE VEHICLE. This is fine if you are single, but two cars are a must for two-earner couples.

No. I think they are assuming that people that live there will be taking the metro to work and not need a second car. What you have with the TH condo is a one-stall garage and one spot on the driveway pad. That means you have to constantly juggle your cars between the garage and the pad. My wife insists on a garage, so guess who will have to constantly move their car?

Under one of the options in the latest FCPS boundary study (Fairfax/Lanier), Metro West could be reassigned from Oakton to Falls Church HS; under another option, Marshall Road ES in Vienna could end up a split feeder to three different high schools (Madison, Oakton and Falls Church). A third option would not affect either Metro West or Marshall Road.

Interesting! I think it would be a great disappointment for Metro West residents and others south of I-66 to be moved from Oakton High School to Falls Church High School - with Oakton considered to be one of the better high schools in FCPS and Falls Church considered to be one of the worst.

All metrowest buyers should go to the county hearing meetings. We need more voice by heard that we are all against to assign metrowest to Falls Church high!! You can submit comments online too.
