I'd like to take my hubby for our anniversary since he loves it so much. I asked last year, but my thread got hijacked and it was never answered.

THis is not a restaurant, but I am sure they can recommend you a good restaurant where they supply their steaks. Angelic Beef, you can find them at the Oakton Farmers Market. Located at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fairfax open every saturday 10 to 1 pm.

Congratulation on your anniversary.

I know that this is an old thread, but just wanted to point out that Kobe beef isn't available outside of Japan. US restaurants mislabel their beef, and it is somewhat legal to do so, but it is NOT Kobe beef. To export it out of Japan is illegal.

The Kobe beef label is like "champagne," properly referring to a brand of beef from a certain type of cattle (Wagyu) that are raised a certain way (the beer massages, etc.)

American Kobe-style beef will be Wagyu, possibly with some Angus crossbreeding, raised in varying degrees of similarity to actual Kobe beef cattle.

With that said, VRE332 named some of the restaurants.
