As more and more 20-somethings move here and get apartments near their jobs in the Dulles Tech Corridor, I predict a boom in dance clubs, music clubs, comedy and magic clubs, and other such entertainment in the nearby burbs. And Reston will get its first gay bar.

I'm sorry but Wegmans is the most overrated grocery store on the planet. How do they claim dominance over the other East Coast chains when simple products like Sweet Baby Ray's Honey Chipolte BBQ sauce aren't on their shelves. Safeway has them for crying out loud!!! SAFEWAY!

Ya'll need to head to a Woodman's in Wisconsin. The best grocery store on the planet.

That would be awesome normie. You guys would finally get to taste REAL cheese and not the plastic stuff they pass off it as here. Not to mention double the selection of kinds of frozen pizzas. And sour cream that comes in a squirt bottle.

You guys are really missing good dairy

Oh, and I predict 2010 will bring a few popular songs about Northern Virginia. It's ridiculous how few there are.

This is the closest thing I've found... and it's not exactly mainstream:

A song about Virginia is due!

I mean, how hard is it to write a song about northern Virginia? It's not like the rhymes are hard. Virginia rhymes with "within ya". McLean rhymes with "gain" or "drain". Reston rhymes with "pressed on" or even "best on." "Arlington" and "Vienna" are lyrical words, the sort of words that would slip easily into a song.

So musicians.... the time for a Nova song is here.

I predict that if I had nuts, I'd freeze them off between now and the end of January. It's SO COLD lately!

LOL!! It's freakin' cold out there! I now gives my dogs permission to pee on the wood floor so that I don't have to take them outside.
