North Arlington and Del Ray in Alexandria would also be considerations, though covered parking could be an issue in Del Ray (unless renting a single family house), and you'd not want some older Arlington buildings built without parking.

Even Shirlington might be a good consideration, though most of the crunchy people I know tend to be denizens of North Arlington and the District.

I would encourage the Mclean/ Tysons Corner, Falls Church, and Arlington areas. These areas provide great access to public transportation, sidewalks, some parks, and have a lot of apartments. Feel free to email me and I will forward you some listings there... (I am a NOVA Realtor).

Blu_monk: Crunchy means she's liberal like all those folks you were blasting from the DC snowball fight. Hardly your type, no?

Crunchy for liberal? That's a new one. I have to cancel our date, Marylin.

Oh, Everyone in the snowball fight was liberal? I didn't know, but I guess it kinda makes sense.

Are you coming to get me CAVA? Maybe you just need a hug.

Well now that we know that crunchy means liberal, Del Ray would be perfect for her.
Can't walk more than a block without seeing a yoga studio, massage parlor or wellness center.
