Wow, last week I truly saw something for the first time. They were scratching up the mulch in my flower bed digging for worms. Never saw robins working so fast and furious!

Funny how this rain is making everything turn green right before your eyes. You can almost hear the crunch of thousands of shoots pushing through the soil. Look out your window this morning and you will see measurable change when you look again at noon.

Once the rain stops I know my allergies will start up. Must be spring! The funny thing is I haven't heard anyone talking about the egg roll at the white house yet. I've seen a bunch of robins and a dead skunk in the road, though. So spring is here.

That's probably because it is still more than 6 weeks away. It's late this year.

I didn't realize geese still flew south for the winter. I guess many didn't get the word.
