All four lanes are now open thru Exit 43 going westbound.

Granted, Friday traffic was very light due to vacations, but I made it down 66 from the Fairfax County Parkway in 10 minutes!!!!

All of us in Gainesville and points further west have waited a long time for this. Of course now they are going to start working on the Rt. 29/Linton Hall Rd. intersection so we are going to be in for another 4 years of construction there. Still, I-66 is a big improvement now with the extra lanes.

I can remember when 66 W/B ended in Manassas and 29 was all you had. What a big improvement from then.

The Roman military could have built the intersection faster. Gosh feels like it has it been under construction for the past 10 years
