I would NEVER leave my wife alone in Potomac Mills, unless I take all the credit cards from her first!

I've been shopping at Potomac Mills since it opened. I was just there today. I've never felt unsafe. If Ross would move back, the shopping experience would be perfect for me.

We've been known to go there on occasion, but not often. We're more likely to go to Tysons or Fair Oaks. Little more upscale, not nearly as crowded and not nearly as many obnoxious kids/teens on the weekends.

As another said, Friday nights, up by the movie theater are the worst for kids. I don't see as much of that on Saturday nights. But that is like any other mall.

This past Friday evening I was at a big "town center" style shopping center in Frederick. Looked like the safest place in the world but was OVERRUN by teens like I've never seen. So that happens anywhere.
Yeah I had a run in like that once at AMC movie theatre. I exited through the side door after the movie, and several teenaged slackers were waiting right outside to slip in without paying. Then the theatre security spotted them, they just ran away. Other than that, never had any problem in the mall.

I was at the mall a few months ago at the back side when JC penny was still closed and there was a guy there with two girls looking for Johns. So is it 100% safe I don't think so but these days no where is 100% safe. So just do your due diligence and be very aware of your surroundings at all times. Like others have said night time and weekends at night especially is the time to be extra cautious.
