The other side of Route 7 in Sugarland is completely different than this neighborhood the OP is looking at. For one, it is a much older neighborhood. The one in question is newer. It used to be pretty rough but I'm not sure these days, especially since they built Cascades.

Thanks!
I used to live near this neighborhood. These townhomes and condos are fairly new. You can walk to the bowling alley, Giant, etc. It is very clean, well-landscaped, slightly boring, and easily accessible to Dranesville Rd and Rte 7. You might want to go out to your potential home and talk to a few neighbors to get their feel about things, especially if you have small children. Good luck!

I thought the bowling alley was closed many years ago. We used to go there during lunch in the 80's.

The neighborhood is roughly in the vicinity of Herndon Junction which straddles the county line. We often use Lincoln Ave and Church Rd as backroads to get to Costco and Wegman's from Herndon/Reston.

The father was referring to gangs within the school grounds, not on Cottage Rd, Lincoln Ave, or Church Rd. The kids were being bullied into carrying out acts that were getting them into trouble with the authorities.

We experienced some vandalism at the Sugarland Land TH, but that would not be relevant to the properties in the vicinity of Herndon Junction and the ADAMS center.

I thought the bowling alley was alive and well? I just moved from that area last year and I thought it was still open? They had bowling clubs and even midnight bowling where they played club music, had smoke machines, and 1/2 price drinks! I went there once for an after-birthday celebration and had a blast!
